-Saiyan Conqueror Quest Patron Epilogue X-

AGE 754, NEW SALDA

“Oboo, obfuu, obfuk... Haaah. Teacher, how do you pronounce this word?” you ask, feeling irritated that you can't sound it out yourself.

“Which word?” she asks, looking over your shoulder to the word you're pointing at. “Ah. That word is obfuscate.”
“Obfuscate. Obfuscate, obfuscate.” you say, making sure that you'll remember how to say it. “What does obfuscate mean?”
“It means to obscure, or to make unclear.” she tells you, then raises her hand and points her palm at her book you're reading. It is then covered in blackness, you unable to read it anymore. “Like this.”

“Oh, so it's like hiding.” you say, understanding dawning. But then a question comes to your mind. “Wait, does this count?”

Focusing your mind, you begin suppressing your powerlevel. You can feel your presence drop, Raven smiling and nodding to you.

“Precisely. You are obfuscating your powerlevel by doing that.” she answers, you beaming at her approval a moment before returning to the book. You are Okira: youngest daughter of Karn and Meloka, and wielder of the Stand Imagine Dragon. Together you possess the power to change reality according to your spoken words, but that power is extremely dangerous. You've seen, thanks to Auntie Towa, that your combined might could destroy the entire universe with the wrong combination of words by being interrupted, especially with the most devastating, “Gravity isn't.”

You'd seen planets fall apart, stars explode, and the entire universe rapidly collapse. Which isn't something you'd wanted to be responsible for. So, after witnessing this, you'd started learning to control your powers. Which, to control, you needed to learn words and what they mean. So, every month during the week you all would spend at Auntie Towa's and outside your own time, you'd spend a lot of it reading. Either with Chilli, Milha, or Auntie Towa herself. Then, during the time you are home you'd spend two to three hours every day studying from Teacher Raven's private library she shares with you. She has a whole library in another space all to herself, which you think is just the coolest thing ever.

“Hey, Teacher Raven. I just had an idea.” you say, looking back up from the book. “What if I had a library just like yours?”
“I think that could be a good thing.” she replies, sounding a little hesitant. “But what do you have in mind?”

“Are we going to finally make a copy of her library today?” Imagine Dragon asks, you shaking your head.
“Not yet. I wanna run it by Miss Teacher Raven first an' make sure it's okay.” you tell your Stand, then turn to your teacher. “How does this sound? 'Teacher Raven's private library is now two identical libraries'?”

“Not a bad idea, but we can tweak the wording a bit to make it a much better sentence.” she says, bringing a hand to her chin. “Instead of making it a simple copy of my mother's library, this can be your own private library that only you and Imagine Dragon have access to. So, instead it should start with 'My teacher Raven's library is now copied into its own private dimension, accessible only through Imagine Dragon's power.”

“That's a lot better!” you say, grabbing the empty book and a pencil. Writing down what you plan on saying always makes saying the sentence you want much easier, especially if it's a more complicated one. And so you don't forget something important, and possibly make a mistake. “And it should have a special password too!”

“A password?” your teacher asks as you nod furiously. “For what?”

“So that we can open it with a word or two, and not have to say everything every time.” you tell her, which was originally one of your Stand's ideas. That you agree with, using your power a lot is still tiring. “Something short, and really simple.”
“How about, hmmm. Oh, I know.” your teacher says, snapping her fingers. “Why not, 'Open Sesame'?”

“Open Sesame? What's that mean?” you ask, Miss Teacher Raven telling you that it was a common phrase for opening magical doors, before her people were wiped out by the Tamaraneans. And you like your teacher, so you'll use her people's words for opening magic doors. You start writing it down, then stop after “Open” and turn to her. “How do you spell sesame?”

She then spells it out for you, to which you sound it out twice before taking ink to the page.

“Open. Says-aaah-mee.” you say, sounding it out while writing it down. “Got it. And how about, 'Close Sesame' when I want to close it back up?”
“Having separate words for opening and closing would be an excellent idea.” your teacher says, looking over your shoulder at your words.

“There is now an identical library to Miss Teacher Raven's that only opens up when Okira and Imagine Dragon say 'Open sesame' together, and closes when we both say 'Close sesame'. And you spelled it all correctly, well done.” she says, you beaming at the praise. You love it when she says you did good. “But it still needs work.”
“Really? On what?” you ask her, confused. “I think that's everything.”

“Read it again, Okira.” she tells you, tone serious. “Think it all over and tell me if you see anything.”

“Yes Ma'am.” you say, looking it back over. You read it all back aloud, then when you realize it! There's a MASSIVE problem! “Oh, I see! I didn't specify WHERE the library would open up to!”

“Precisely.” Raven says, nodding once and smiling down at you. “Before we create you your own library, perhaps we should practice making portals first so you understand them.”
“Wait, you think I can make portals? Like you?” you ask her, eyes widening in surprise. You'd never even considered it. If you could make portals like Miss Teacher Raven, then you'll be even MORE helpful! The nice scientist man Daiko won't have to send a whole ship to that planet named after your grandpa, you could just make a portal there instead! You could also help Daddy and Miss Teacher Raven too, helping her when lots'a people are asking her for portals at the same time. “If you think I can, then I want to learn. I wanna help people, like you an' big sis Cauli an' Daddy!”

“That is the right reason to learn this technique and its applications.” she says, nodding once. “With your powers, first we'll need to spell out how it works. Are you ready?”

“I'm ready!” you and Imagine Dragon both say, your Stand clearly excited as well before Raven begins teaching you how her portals work. She explains that her portals function like a tunnel, connecting wherever she is with where she wants to go through an extra-dimensional space. Once you understand how it works, she then raises her hand, using her power to create a portal from New Salda straight to her library.

“Just like this.” she tells you, holding it open for you to inspect. You look at the portal, then you hold your own hand out, readying yourself. “Are you ready?”

“Ready.” you reply.

“Ready.” Imagine Dragon says as well, the two of you taking in deep breaths. Then, as one, you speak.

“A PORTAL IDENTICAL TO RAVEN'S APPEARS JUST BEYOND OKIRA'S HAND, CONNECTING NEW SALDA TO WHERE CHAYA IS RIGHT NOW.” the two of you say, space distorting. You watch, eyes wide as a portal begins opening, and the first thing you see is red. The portal widens, growing to the same size Raven's was to show your oldest sister mid-workout, weighted bar bending behind her shoulders as her eyes widen in surprise.

“Chaya! Look what I did!” you tell her excitedly, almost bouncing up and down in place. “I made a portal! Just like Miss Teacher Raven!”

“Wow, that's impressive!” she says, taking one hand off the bar and reaching through, ruffling your hair almost the same way Daddy does. She then pulls her hand back, waving to Miss Teacher Raven before grabbing the bar with both hands and stands up, then squats back down with the weight. “Well done!”

“Thanks!” you reply excitedly, you then hearing an odd ding. Chaya looks away towards it, mouthing something to herself before turning back to you.

“Hey, wanna say hi to everyone watching?” she asks, you nodding and sticking your head through. But immediately the crazy gravity she's training under, it dragging you to the ground. “Oh, are you okay?”

“Wow, that's heavy!” you exclaim, reaching through with both hands and pushing yourself upright. It takes several seconds, the heavy gravity more than you've ever worked out it. But you get yourself upright, turning to her camera and screen and waving. “Hi everybody! I learned I can make portals today!”

You watch as a text box starts exploding with movement, hundreds of thousands of messages flashing by a second. Faster than even you can read, shocking you.

“Wow. You guys sure type fast.” you say, turning back to your sister as she continues working out. “Have fun, I'm gonna go back home now. I'm gonna try and make me a library today!”
“Really? Sounds like fun, good luck.” she tells you, you stepping back through. She waves as you turn back around, before grabbing her bar and turning back to the camera. “Alright, back to it! Four hundred thirty four, four hundred thirty five, four hundred thirty six!”

“THE PORTAL CREATED BY IMAGINE DRAGON AND OKIRA CLOSES AS IF IT HAD NEVER BEEN.” the two of you say, the portal quickly vanishing. You then turn back to your teacher, eyes wide and happy.

“We did it!” you exclaim, excited. “We really made a portal!”

“Yes you did. Well done.” Miss Teacher Raven says, patting you on the head. “Now, are you ready to create your own library?”

“Ready!” you reply, rushing over to the desk where your paper was, going over your sentence again. You write a bit more out, then hand it to her for review. She looks it over, nods once and gives it back.
“Excellent. Now, let us begin.” Miss Teacher Raven says, your excitement overflowing. You're gonna have your very own library, made with your own power! You're so excited, this is going to be amazing!
