QoW - Book II launch pending...

We're almost there, folks.

I've edited my tooshie off through it three times over, I've formatted this bastard as best as I am able... but I'm almost 100% positive I've missed something somewhere.

So, if you feel so inclined, here is the Epub file I am about to upload to Amazon. I offer it up to you, my glorious and wonderful patrons, to read at your leisure... and hopefully rip apart. Seriously, anything you see. Something looks weird? Formatting is off? You wish I could have phrased something a different way? Let me know. I may not ultimately change your specific note, but the more eyes on this thing, the better. The sheer number of mistakes I've found along the way are staggering, and I am anything but slapdash when it comes to chapter releases.

I'll leave this up for the rest of the week before taking it down for final adjustments.

Oh, and in case any of you get any funny ideas--its already happened once, so I've got my eyes on you (mostly kidding)--I've already submitted this to the Library of Congress for copyright review.

Synopsis (tentative):

In a tiny corner of Vrekfren, where giant monsters roam the landscape in hopes of swallowing innocent travelers into the extradimensional Dungeons within their bellies, Donum, a world-weary office worker and fledgling summoner, is just about to claw his way out of yet another of the wretched beasts.

His life has certainly taken a turn from his time on Earth, but things are looking up. He has a pair of hot, new adventuring companions, he's got a bit of cash in his Coin Pouch, and he's free to explore what wondrous magicks this new world has to offer. But fate has other plans. Just as they breathe the sweet air of liberation, they stumble upon a celestial crossroads.

The goddesses have been watching Donum in his dreams. Their divine eyes see much that is hidden and wonder just what part this newcomer might play in the grand design that is their Purpose. But one in particular wants him... for more personal reasons.

If only the rest were prepared to honor Her claim...

Caught within the tender madness that is the embrace of divinity and the wild machinations of the ensuing rivalry, Donum comes to a stunning revelation: the gods are crazy.

And when the heavens war, it is mortals who suffer.

And here's the cover! (Yes! It is different than what you remember. I had him change some of the colors.) I also have a wraparound version for the eventual paperback. So look forward to that!

 ---------

By the by, I'm looking to send out some autographed versions of the new book for reward tier patrons. If you want one, and don't want to send money to Amazon, consider upgrading your sub for a month. I'll get you a copy on me!

Both of those scenes are referencing ch. 29 - A realization. It's definitely in the epub file I have. Is it missing in yours somehow? Hmm... I guess it is a bit of a contradiction depending on how you read it. I was thinking that Arx hadn't fully explained the ends and outs of the conversion chain. Probably should make that more distinct, but I'm not sure how to fix it at the moment Lessor - someone who leases an apartment? -- damn it...

Chapter 41: The last time I had awoken from slumber, I had caught Lynnria masturbating to the sight of my morning wood. - This scene this sentence references seems to have been edited out. EDIT: Chapter 42: “You know, Mia… I could always use a bit of spell practice. And I don’t seem to recall any flying poses in that gigantic list of sexual positions you were showing me the other day,” - Another scene that is referenced that seems to be missing Next two scenes from chapter 37 and 47 seem to contradict each other. Chapter 37: Arx turned and again led us through the darkness. This time, perhaps to help keep her mind off things, she began to explain a few things to Lynnria. It was a mundane sort of topic. Status Effects… Emotional Ailments… Life Energy, and all the rest. However, from her tone, you would have thought she was edging her way toward a massive orgasm. And she might very well have been. I was certainly having a hard time keeping my hands still. That heavenly aroma was consuming me. It was so strong! How could Lynnria not smell it? Gah! I have to get rid of this Lust! How long does it take to convert a bit of poisoned jerky?! “You can eat Lust Ailment?” she asked finally. Chapter 47: “What is it with you guys and poison, anyway?” Lynnria asked, distracting me from my musings. “You never got around to explaining what that was all about back in the labyrinth.” Chapter 44: lessor or not - lesser

It upsets me that immanent exists as a word. ><

Chapter 9: anticipation for his immanent fate - immanent should be imminent, unless it's a pun that I don't get. Chapter 1: At my touch, her mouth dropped open, exposing her sharp canines, and as she inhaled, a light snore vibrated its way into the air. - The first and fourth commas here seem weird to me.
