Hot Mess hair and skeletons!

Small update before I get to the bodies!

Just a lot of the usual pulling apart yarn and glueing it to heads! I had fun with the teal gal with yellow hair- i switched to black wefts and a black alcohol marker at her part to give her some major roots! The yellow gal and purple fellow have some scribbled on undercuts, I think it looks cool!

As for the skeletons, I tried something new- instead of trying to freehand bending the wire or making some one-and-done form with some nails and wood, I got myself a crochet blocking board and formed my skeletons around the rods. Worked pretty damn well and saved my sanity!

I used my softer wire for these (I think I'm making the switch from my super stiff wire) but still wanted some extra support, so I went in and twisted 1 extra layer of wire around the limbs, torso, and neck, before moving to apoxie

And here they are, all reinforced and ready for me to start building those bodies! I'll get to work on that ASAP and WILL take process photos along the way- promise I won't forget!
