The Tomorrow War

Thing is... Think about it. They were fighting with the weapons they brought from THE PAST! The future people didn't even gave them pictures of what they are fighting, or was it the past superiors? Let alone what to use against them. As I see it. Most of those that fought them ... died pretty fast! Not very many opportunities to experiment. At least they knew bombings worked as well as shooting neck and stomach. Wait, that second thing the veterans knew. They aren't their superiors tho. You saw what panic occurred in the past. Try convincing some of those militaries to send troops armed with powerful things like rocket launchers to ... something unknown to them! They couldn't even convince the superiors to send a search and destroy party in Russia!

Hi, KG. Didn't expect to hear from you so soon. A twenty-first century army would have had many options. I noticed fire was more effective in early scenes. We already have armor piercing shells and rockets. Anyway, it's just a little sci-fi distraction in which Dillon did find some good morals. As a fan of the Pratt, I did want to check it out sometime. Thanks for the opportunity.

Thing is. What other weapons could they have. It's not like they had time to invent beam or laser weapons. Before the attacks started. They didn't even have a decent light saber! :P I admit time travel was a big leap. but the creators of the movie couldn't add too many big leaps before the earth was overrun there. THAT would feel even more ... super strange.

Ok, ya, lots of action, lots of personal soul-searching and resolution. I couldn't buy the original premise, especially when they inserted time travel into the mix. To think that a civilization that could develop time travel couldn't figure out where the threat came from seems dubious. Also, their reliance on projectile weapons that proved so ineffective defies credibility.

Actually its 11 seasons. Exactly as much as "The Walking Dead"! You know, the one that he is watching right now. :)

Because it's ten seasons long? I can see someone making a T5 request for the "X-Files: Fight the Future" movie, though, and...darnit, I was hoping to quit T5's!

I'm SOOO glad you don't check critics' ratings or synapses before you watch movies! They gave it 6.6 out of 10! I have lost faith in them long long time ago. Thus I run from them like a plague! I requested this movie, first because it reminded me a lot of "The day after tomorrow" and second because of something YOU mentioned at some point last year. You wondered what might be uncovered should the ice caps melt. Here is your answer, aliens!!! :P Interesting how you keep giving us request ideas of things you don't even know! :P For example ... just one of them: At the end you mentioned you love conspiracy theories? Does that mean you have watched the entire "X-files" TV show/series and if not. Why haven't you?
