Clothing a skunk!

Right off the bat, I’m sewing a shirt directly onto the body. It’s one solid piece sewn up the back and shoulders
To embellish the shirt, I glue on a bit of ribbon, a collar, a small bow i made, and tiny white buttons. I also added sleeves but forgot to photograph that part, they’re more or less just tubes though!
For the socks, I sew some long tubes but not all the way. I put them on the body, and then fix the shoe pieces into place. I glue the extra fabric onto the sculpts, cut off the excess, and then give the shoes a clean finish with plastic cord. I repainted them as well, and wrapped them up to protect them as i finish off the rest of the doll
I make a waistband by folding and ironing a strip of fabric, and using a wider strip, I make pleats for a pleated skirt
I glue on the pleated portion. I feed some ribbon into a couple chains for some embellishment, glueing the bits of lace into place before installing the waistband.
I whip up a vest, and add tiny buttons and small lengths of black ribbon to look like pockets
I use the same frilly ribbon folded in half to make cuffs, glueing them in place after installing the hands.
I whip up some pattern pieces for the big ol tail, sewing it all up, stuffing it, and stitching on white fleece for stripes. i put it on the wire, and stitch the tail onto the skirt.
I install her head, and she’s done!
