2025-09-25 16:07:02 +0000 UTCi think jake as a parent was both good and not great like when he was a parent he was genuinely concern for there well being and even tired himself out just to keep em safe but no matter what age, a child still needs there parents there to support them and watch over em even if its in a small way But also Jake's Kids literally became adults in like 2 days or (or a couple of a days), its hard to blame him for leaving especially when he said some of them are older than even him now

2025-09-25 16:05:12 +0000 UTCWait, Jake didn't leave them as soon as they were born, he was very protective of them, to the point of smothering. I think the problem was that they grew up so fast (since rainicorns are known for that) and Jake assumed his job as a dad was done. Jake is a bad dad, but he's not the worst (Now Finn's dad, that's the worst of the worst!).

2025-09-24 22:39:12 +0000 UTCOkay so like with the whole “deadbeat” thing, your……half right- It’s because due to them being half rainacorn(jakes girlfriend is a rainacorn) they age REALLY quickly. They went from 1 to mid 20’s, hell even jakes son had a beard and some of the kids were older than jake himself. So, they didn’t need him, buuuut he is still kinda a deadbeat because he still spent no real time with them even if they were young adults (Dont worry, there’s more episodes with him and his kids)
