What you said at the beginning about the blind patrons broke my heart. To me, whether something is dubbed or not makes a huge difference. I prefer subtitles because it does the actors justice, and I find dubbed series/movies a bit awkward. But I'm fast at reading so I can still focus on their acting and not the subtitles. If you find subtitles distracting and the dubbed version isn't awkward for you then do what you prefer. You'll only get the best experience by doing what's better for you :) If you like mystery and suspense then I highly recommend a korean drama called "Mouse". You can try watching the first 1 or 2 episodes and then stop if you don't like it.
