Finally caught up on the last few episodes of this series <3 Had little to no memory of the final season and tbh maybe it should've stayed that way 😬 This finale especially was not it. Still love the show overall but it definitely went downhill and didn't recover. Anyways, the Starco hater in me feels seen by your take on them throughout the show.

2025-08-10 04:17:41 +0000 UTCi felt like i was the only one ok with the ending and also star getting with marco. to me it always felt like star and marco were going to be a thing. only thing i dont like about how they got together is marco dating so much other people and only got with star at the end. i never really liked the idea of star and to for some reason and nice not like marco and jackie much. i am ok with them dating others but just felt like they waited to long for star and marco to date and would have been nice for them to date earlier so they can develop more as a couple and not just date for a couple episodes and the show ends.

She also said disney is considering doing a revival/continuation of it and for the fans to bother disney by asking for more.

No actual punishment for their actions. No punishment for Mina. At all. At this point, everyone is off the hook. Meteora is off the hook, Mina is off the hook, all the townspeople are off the hook, Moon is off the hook Toffee was the only one who wasn't off the hook. And he was the only to be confirmed to be in the right. the Magical High Commission are dead. This is played off as a joke, I am a horrible people, but despite that being really important characters. Here's what isn't a joke Hekapoo is dead, she was actually a good person that had multiple episodes dedicated to building her personality and relationship With Marco. All of Stars spells who we had multiple episodes dedicated to? DEAD Yeah, those spells that all had families, friends, complete sentience, thoughts, and aspirations? Dead. All of them. Any other civilizations in the multiverse that relied on magic for one reason or another will (at best) face significant societal upheaval and chaos, and at worst collapse entirely (if they don't outright die without magic). At last, but not least Not only did Star and Marco uproot 2 (or more) dimensions for the sake of being together They likely caused the racism to get worse Caused governmental panic and chaos by merging a monarchy and democracy (US Government) Cause mass panic to both sides, citizens are not used to this and they are LITERALLY SCREAMING I DON'T SEE VERY MUCH HAPPY ABOUT THIS SITUATION But don't worry, because they can be together now.

I have a lot of problems with it, For starters Star explains her plan to Hekapoo, and she just nonchalauntly agrees to help her by opening the portals. When Marco asks her if she'll die from it, Hekapoo only replies with "I always hadthe feeling this stuff did more harm than good" She's apparently just okay with dying. Marco just says "aw I'm gonna miss her" SHE'S GOING TO DIE, AND YOU'VE KNOWN HER FOR A LOONG TIME. LIKE OVER 16 YEARS (time works differently in that dimension you remember) LONG TIME. YOU'D THINK HE’D BE MORE UPSET ABOUT THIS. Eclipsa says "Are they dating? Aww" Even though the last time Eclipsa saw Star, she was just about to go on a perfectly fine romantic getaway with Tom. Now, she suddenly comes back and she's with Marco. Marco feeds Tom the pudding, but gets PHYSICALLY STABBED ALL THE WAY THROUGH by the unicorn's horn. PHYSICAL, MIND YOU, NOT A "MAGIC WOUND" The stab wound is hinted to be a serious thing, but is later Marco's physical wound just disappears. Why did they even take the time to have that happen in the first place? No explanation either. Past queens show up in ghost form. And now all the queens are apparently happy they're destroying it??? Even though they were upset and angry about it in the last episode. They even help out??? But then Star randomly decides that she'd rather abandon everything and everyone to be with Marco, like I know she hasn’t a problem with her mom. What about her father eclipsa, Ponyhead? (HER BEST FRIEND) Also, the Earth Well just so happens to be pretty close now, and it doesn't add up to the long time it took to get there in Mama Star(S4 Ep 18)

2025-07-27 22:51:07 +0000 UTCOh boy, where do we start with this? I will say I'm glad you reacted to this show becuase I notice a lot more things now that I'm older. I agree that the writers are unsure of what to do. The first and second seasons were good; they introduced toffee. He was an interesting threat and was able to "Beat Star" since she destroyed her wand, and then it turned into, this whole thing with Ludo and that the wand was toffee and he controlled Ludo and destroyed the magic again but was killed like 5 secounds later just for them to bring it back and was like oh he was right all along. However, the last two seasons just felt underwhelming at times, mainly Season 4The Moon episode. Like Moon was a complicated character at the start, but then once we found out what Moon went through as a kid, having to become queen at a young age. I felt that gave Moon's character depth, and I started to like her more. Just for it to be thrown out the window when Eclipsa showed up, who Moon made a deal with once Moons target is killed Eclipsa is free, this last season, Moon wanted Eclipsa to die, let's be honest, she really didn't care and if Star wasnt around I bet she wouldve done more, Moon caused so much harm almost getting her own child killed beacuse of Eclipsa and how she used dark magic and ran away with a monster. But mind you this is the same perospn who help build a case for Eclipsa to find out what the Magical High Commission did. But then Reformed the Solarian army to force Eclipsa to hand over the throne, which was Star's choice to give the throne to Eclipsa. But Moon didn't care. Moon has told the other mewmen that she is no longer the queen, and she can't tell them what to do. What I'm trying to say is they butchered Moon's character so badly in the last season. Also, how is Eclipsa going to be a better mom to Star than Moon when they not even related? Another thing is that they pressured Starco excessively. Marco and Jackie, yeah, that was a good ship and ended on a good note. But then he got with Kelly, and it was nice. I do love them both together, and Star and Tom were together, and again, it was nice. But in a random episode, they just said, 'Oh, Marco and Kelly broke up.' They didn't show it or anything and then on the other side, Star and Tom started to go downhill. Like they were about to go on a trip together, but Star was all like Oh, I've been to most of these, and idk if I want to go. idk what to do, but she sure knew where to go when Tom left, straight toMarcos's house. Like Star and Tom, could have gone to a random place and seen where things took them, but no, Star left him, for Marco, and I feel bad for Him. We've seen how far he's come so that he can better himself for Star. He went to anger management and therapy, and he became friends with Marco. He changed himself completely because of how much he loved Star, but she ended up with Marco. Lastly, the last episode felt rushed, destroying all the magic, and people died because of it. Whiched caused both worlds to collide, which does make a little sense, given the first mewmens are from earth. I do remember seeing a Twitter post mentioning that Nancy wants to make another season or something like that but honestly I think it may not work that well with how this season went with writing and the character developments

Mainly because it felt like there was supposed to be a sacrifice for destroying magic and I guess magic itself could be the sacrifice but it didn't feel as rewarding as it could have been if they kept Star and Marco apart because then the stakes would ACTUALLY matter. I also don't like how they were setting something up last time we saw Ludo just for them to never acknowledge him again, idk if they changed their mind or what but why build something up if you don't revisit it? Anyway loved Tom, Eclispa and her family and Janna, everyone else kinda got worse for me, Star and Marco included

I follow the woman who plays Star on Tik Tok. I have only ever seen her talk about her Sue character from The Middle, I low key wish she would give her opinion on the ending of this show.

With completely ruining moon’s character, ruining the good relationships in the show just for star and marco to be together, and not knowing what to do with the plot they had and decided “F*ck it, destroy magic” even though that LITERALLY obliterated half of monster kind considering they NEED magic to live. Along with star’s and Marco’s reality colliding, which is definitely send it spiraling into CHAOS. In stars reality, they only JUST NOW started accepting monsters, how do you think humans and military people with power are going to react when there’s gigantic monsters running around? ask them to leave? Nah, they gonna shoot first and ask questions later. And even after allll of this, i’m still confused…..why. Was eclipsa. So mistrusted…? She had done LITERALLY no wrongs, only time that happened is when she wanted her husband free but the racist crystal man said no so she took his body. Sorry for the rant i’m just soo upset at how they fumbled the bag with such a GREAT STORY. After toffee (lizard man in suit) story ended, it went downhill from there…..the funny part is they portrayed it like he was right to want magic gone when…..thats not even close to right.
