2021-05-13 00:18:56 +0000 UTCYeah, wondered about that comment about "Seeing more great western films", whether it referred to "Cowboys", or "Not Indian films". Paul Newman and Robert Redford in this film were already riding their previous hit as buddy-outlaws in "Butch Cassidy", and that's one great classic Western in both senses of the word.

The theme music by black composer, Scott Joplin (1868-1917) received renewed popularity after this movie. You can see the two lead actors in a classic western: "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid".
