However, I highly recommend reacting to the Homecoming short, it gives a lot of context to the epilogues and it's a fun short. They did not kill dragons to make their dragon scale armor, they just used the scales the dragons shed (Hiccup said they shed a lot). When Grimmel said "I've missed it", my initial reaction was actually similar to yours, I thought he had some past on Berk. However, I realized what he meant was he missed hunting Night Furies/the hunt in general. Also you missed it, but Drago's Bewilderbeast was among the dragons in the Hidden World, it was a very brief moment so it's easy to miss. If you want to watch more I suggest: Gift of the Night Fury (short which was referenced in the movie) Riders/Defenders of Berk (Cartoon Network show that took place right after the first one) Race to the Edge (Netflix show that takes place about a year before the 2nd movie and gives context to certain events in the 2nd movie) The Homecoming short I mentioned (this and Gift of the Night Fury are the two shorts I highly recommend reacting to)
