He created the magical high commission, and made Mewni and started the line of the queens. Also all of the magical high commission members are Glossaryck's kids, Hekapoo, Rhombulus, Omnitraxus are all his children even if they don't address him as "Dad" or "Father" probably because none of them like him. They where all made by him, so he wasn't messing or screwing up the timeline, rather this episode showed us how he created the timeline of the show.

Basically it's a time paradox
