this episode had 2 pretty fun main points, the gumball writers were making fun of an actual Chinese show called Miracle Star that ripped off a bunch of their plots and characters hence the Chinese translation and no anais because of Chinas one child per family rule, the second was to switch voice actors though they do appear for one more episode.

It is a handoff to the new voices(Nicolas and Donielle )
But Jacob and Terell actually have one more episode( this episode was suppose to be their last, but apparently episode 13 is the last time they voice the characters)

The show takes place in California, USA but a lot of the writers are British. British and Canadian English share a lot of words, pronunciations, and grammar. That's why it might seem like it's Canadian.

The episode was the kids and I think it was either skipped cause Christine made a mistake or Hulu’s episode order of gumball eps are messed up

i do believe its a handoff to the new VAs for Gumball and Darwin. i know that there is another episode where their voices change but i thought that was before this? idk ifi missed that reaction or if its been skipped as i think some of the other episodes i remember watching were early on in the start of the show but they might also have been skipped, tho i might just be messing up the order as its been a long time since then.

The Chinese ripoff is called Miracle Star. I thought Anais being redacted was a crazy one child policy reference but now seeing this episode again, it could also be a reference to the fact that Chinese families tend to have a preference to have sons over daughters
