2025-02-15 22:17:35 +0000 UTCIIRC Netflix used to have the original uncensored TDI (the Canadian version) but some time ago they changed to the censored US version. The subtitles on Netflix still seem to be from the uncensored version which is why there's a mismatch between them and the dialogue. They mostly just changed words like stupid/crap/lame/shut up (and future seasons aren't really censored bc they just avoided these words) so it's not super noticeable in most episodes. Unless you're like me and know every line by heart. 😂 Though, when you get there, if you can find the uncensored version of episode 18 of this season somewhere like YouTube, that may be better than watching it censored on Netflix, as it is the one episode where the censorship makes a pretty major change to the tone of some scenes. Not world-ending if impossible, but imo the uncensored version of that particular episode is a MUCH better experience! Unrelated side note, Trent was majorly injured in 3/4 challenges between the stretch of episode 10 through this one and I always feel so bad for him!
