8/11/25 Weekly Update
Added 2025-08-11 19:04:54 +0000 UTCLast week:
Last week was relatively productive, if I do say so myself. Under Her Influence saw Chapter 8 released for Supporters and up. I got some good time in on the cleanup of the Isle of Eros demo, too! Specifically, I was able to head off one potential problem and solve another. They were minor problems, buy I'm happy to take out as many of those as possible before the demo goes wider.
This week:
I'm still modestly hopeful that we could see the demo released this week. The biggest hurdle is honestly my own mental health. Without getting into the weeds, the current state of the world could be generously described as "hostile" toward the type of content I'm creating. That takes a big toll on the ol' psyche. It also takes up a ton of time, as I do my best to check terms and find workarounds to keep doing what I do and ensure I don't suddenly lose a good amount of income overnight along with my major creative outlet. It's exhausting, and it makes getting excited for what I'm creating difficult.
(Not that I'm not happy with the demo. I'm thrilled with what I've got. I want to stress that.)
But that's enough being a downer for now! I am absolutely still trucking along. I've already been combing over the demo, looking for typos and bugs and things I could do better. Today's big goal, for example, is adding one more small expansion sequence into the intro portion of the demo. That's right! Expect growth before you even see the in-game title card!
Even with everything, we're still looking at a release this week or next. Thank you all for your patience. I really hope it lives up to expectations.
Content releases:
-Possible Isle of Eros V0.1.0 demo release for Supporters and up this week (failing that, next week).
Comments
I appreciate the kind words. I'm always conscious of burnout risk, and I fully plan to take a week off after the demo release. The main thing is I'm having to pace myself more than I would like some weeks in order to avoid that burnout.

2025-08-11 23:49:06 +0000 UTCHey don't work yourself too hard now, your working hard and stressing over the dumb guidelines that have recently been made, and we wouldn't want you to collapse or go into burnout, so make sure your taking breaks for yourself... I'm sure we all wouldn't mind if you took a week for yourself.
