Weekly Update 6/23/25

Last week:
Last week was a whole lot of getting back into the swing of things. We also had a few little... let's call them "bonuses"... courtesy of some time I got to spend on 3D practice.

I got some good, useful feedback on both the game dev so far and on my stories. Thank you to those who DM'd and commented with that. It really was a big help. I also put out a new Spiciness Poll for supporters to get a better handle on what everyone's looking for in my writing/games. It's still got another couple days to go, but so far, it looks like the most enthusiasm is around "lewd" content, while outright sexual content is not as big a draw. I'll keep that in mind going forward, and be sure to adjust where it makes sense. No content is getting scrapped in anything based on that poll, though, so don't worry.

I put out the latest part for Dear Dairy which has gotten pretty spicy, itself. Lots of BIG changes happening in that story, if you haven't been keeping up. And there's more to come as it hurdles toward a conclusion in the next several parts.

Then there was the 3D stuff. Yeah... sorry to put that in front of your eyeballs. It was a fun and funny idea, and I had to make it happen. The more exciting part is that's a byproduct of a new collab that I'm working on with the wonderful Rack-Coon. Their musings about a dinosaur park/BE crossover story resonated with me, and we're working to make it happen. It'll take some time, but that'll happen at some point.

Also, I took a few minutes to knock out a newer, fancier profile image for myself with my lil' mascot devil dude. He's a doodle I've drawn for at least a decade and a half, so it was nice to bring him into the third dimension.

This week:
The first part of this week will be focused on the next chapter of the commissioned story Under Her Influence which will go up on Sunday.

After that, I'll be diving back into Isle of Eros to keep pushing toward the upcoming demo release. I've recently had a massive creative brainwave hit me regarding the game, and there's a lot of fun variability that I've cracked the "code" on. (Metaphorically, I mean. I still have to write the literal code for it.) I'm excited to make some major progress on it.

On that front, I'll also be releasing a pair of polls later today, one each for Supporters and True BElievers. The aim of these will be to get feedback on some schedule changes I'm debating. The short version is I'm looking at less frequent story chapter releases to allow for more game dev time. If you've got an opinion, watch for those polls to hit my page imminently. (Then no more polls for a while... promise.)
