In Dire Need of Feedback

Hey there! If you can read this full post, then you are one of the amazing people who already monetarily support this little weird hobby of mine. For that, I can't thank you enough. Really.

It also means that I really value your opinion. I've kind of felt a little "in a rut" creatively over the past few weeks/months, and I wanted to see how you all felt about that. Part of it is the insidious anxiety of imposter syndrome raring up, as it likes to do for most people on occasion. I'm probably overthinking things, but I've decided to just see what my patrons think.

To that end, I'm asking for any and all feedback you have about my Patreon content. You can comment here. You can DM me here or on bluesky if you follow me over there. I don't really care how you prefer to give the feedback, but I could really use it. I'm not fishing for praise or anything. I want real, honest (brutally so, if necessary) feedback that I can use to improve.

What I'm looking for is any feedback you have about my games and stories. Why do you support what I do? How can I ensure the content I create remains interesting to you? Are you clicking with one particular thing or project over the others? What's your favorite story and why? Which story or stories do you hate and why? Are you just eager for me to hurry up and put out the next game release? Do you wish I would include more of something or less of something in my games and stories?

Please, please, please, take the time to leave any comments you have, even if it's just a few words. It will absolutely help me as I keep working to make fun content.

And as always, thank you from the bottom of my heart for supporting me and my creative endeavors. You're pretty awesome for that.

I appreciate the info! And the candid concern for the new game. I can definitely confirm that there will still be plenty of puzzles (specifically the same type of learning the proper sequences to not cut off your later options or figuring out what items need to be used where). The biggest change is the lack of a "default" ending like in the first game. As you've seen, you can't just leave and get the basic ending. I'm doing my best to ensure it's not possible to fully lock yourself out of anything. You might only have "bad" endings left as options, but I don't want anyone stuck just wandering trying to figure out what they're missing.

I was bummed out when How the Breast was Won was shelved because that project really interested me but I understand how daunting and complex a task it is to make something of that elevated scope, and I've already followed too many creators who let feature creep and grand scale turn their games/stories turn into forever projects that never get finished. But I've been playing all of the IoE builds you've been updating us with and I've enjoyed them so far! That's another case of me not wanting my own tastes to drive your work towards something that only I'd enjoy while others might find bland. I was intrigued by the possible idea of having two female characters that could grow at different rates (Sara and The Scientist) but again I know how much more writing that would take having to consider two characters with varying sizes/effects at any given point. And for those who are into The Scientist being an inanimate object (The Bikini) than I wouldn't want to take that away from them. All in all, I already like your stuff so just keep going because I think it's great!

I'm generally happy with your work! I hesitate to add too much of my own opinion as my tastes are generally limited to breast expansion and hourglass expansion, and I don't want others to lose out on things that they enjoy. I'm happy with the return to interactive fiction as I enjoy your writing in general and many interactive fiction BE games have mediocre writing and/or are unfinished and have too many bugs. Just for my own tastes, I really enjoy reading Dear Dairy! I was onboard with Breast Obsessed but personally I was hoping it would go more the way of actual breast expansion as opposed to the wish-fulfillment buying prosthesis path its taken but again that's just my tastes and if a story isn't for me personally I don't lose sleep over it.

Well, I think youre doing pretty well! Unless i jump onto an analysis of everything youve written, i can say with confidence your stories are good, but a bit slow burning. (Not a bad thing mind you, kinda comes down to taste there.) I will say im slightly concerned that the Isles of Eros will be less interactive than ETEM. One thing i certainly enjoyed from that game was the puzzles. Im looking forward to the next games puzzles but the demo is relatibely straightforward. Of course... the lack of puzzles could be... you know... cuz its a demo? But what i think im trying to say in a rambling way is dont be afraid to try new things and push yourself! Try new tricks with twine or have a couple silly puzzles to solve and have fun with em.
