Added 2024-06-19 22:47:26 +0000 UTCEnter the Expansion Mansion had a whopping 6 NPCs wandering the mansion (well, standing stationary in the mansion). Admittedly, only 3 of those were "true" NPCs with major interactions. The rest were mostly present for story moments.
At this time, I don't know how many NPCs will populate How the Breast Was Won, but I currently expect the game to include around 10-12 NPCs or more, all of which will be fully available for interaction at various times.
Furthermore, while I went through a lot of effort to ensure that NPCs in EtEM remembered the game state, they were largely unchanging. How the Breast Was Won will feature a new wrinkle. NPCs will all feature a "Reputation" variable. This will be used to track their attitude toward you.
Successfully flirt with the general store owner? They might be willing to offer discounts. Try to rob the bank? The sheriff isn't going to like you too much. I think you get the idea.
Additionally, many of the NPCs will include a "Romance" variable. Get them to like you enough and you might just be able to pay some more personal visits.
Now, as for who these people are: allow me to announce the existence of "Topless" Tammy Thompson! Topless Tammy is a busty brunette who wears riding chaps, boots, and little more. She is often found at the local Saloon and Boarding House, "Tipsy's", blowing her dough on a few drinks... Or more.
When she's not drinking, she's likely lying in the streets outside, totally passed out.
She likes people who buy her a drink, and she strongly dislikes being woken up when she's napping, no matter where she is.
Maybe you'll run into her around Bountiful Hills...
