MPP: July 17th Proggress Update!

Sorry for the slightly late update-

I've also done some planning for Ch10 ( Not the final release of the game! The current rough outline has the game at 15 chapters but that is very bound to change. ) I've done some sketches, writing and art for it. So it is in proggress!

I also finally decided to rework some code to make it possible to compress the game.
This was a bit of work, since early chapters specified files being .png's a fair bit. That is now changed, though! So all the main image files could be changed to .webp's which are basically lossless in terms of visual quality but way smaller. Meaning the game is now 1GB rather than 3GBs.


I hope it works properly. I have only tested it briefly myself and was able to fix some visual glitches, but there could be some more. Let me know If you run into issues!

If you replay the game from the start you may also notice I added a fair few new sound effects/expressions to early dialogue scenes. The plan is to make Ch4 public soon on my itch page, and early chapters were largely lacking sound effects.
They still lack quite a few, especially during sex scenes. in Ch9 i added quite a few sounds to Maple's sex scene, but I have yet to go back and add more of that to early chapters. I don't feel the need to do so right now, but I probably will eventually.

I'll show some sort of visual thing for Ch10 at the end of the month! Right now I don't have anything finished.
