Hey, quick secondary update while I'm slowly getting back in the groove of things (for higher tier patrons, you've already seen the Pomni sketch I hope).

The iOS situation has escalated some. Content creators for are now given the option to set their pricing SPECIFICALLY for the iOS version. Content creators are given an option to either have their supporters pledge a little extra to cover Apple's 30% fee, or alternatively, the content creator can choose to have that fee be taken out of what they earn. An example that Patreon themselves provided is if you maintain your earnings as a creator, the iOS app will charge an additional $4.50 to the pledger if they paid for a $10 tier if the creator they pledge to chooses to maintain their earnings, but alternatively, if they kept their prices the same on iOS, that creator would only get close to 40% of the earnings. If you paid $10 a month now, Patreon gives you, as a creator, $8.61, while if you kept the prices the same, you'd only get $6.20.

NEITHER of these options are fair, but Apple's decision shouldn't put content creators in the position to choose what is given or taken from them like this. I will be keeping my prices the same on both versions for now. Although Patreon themselves say that this fee affects the iOS app specifically, I'm unsure if it also impacts the Safari browser on iOS too.
