Mid-Late August Update 2023

I've been experimenting a bit with my style if you couldn't tell, and it's okay if you couldn't tell because I haven't been doing a good enough job pushing the boundaries of what I do, I feel. I both need to experiment more and need to take on commissions, so I want to take a day or two out of the week and just, draw. Do nothing but drawing. Now in reality that's probably not gonna happen the way I want it to, but I want to at least try for it.
At any case, I'm going to try to do more canon characters for end of August and September on my own time when I can, namely because a lot, happened, in August. At the beginning I got really invested in a class project, and just a few days ago I had a death in the family (not someone I was close to, but I was afraid there would be family drama in the days soon after. I'm past that point now I think). What I thought was going to be a productive month turned out to be filled with distractions, and ultimately, distractions I had to take.
Honestly I'm hoping classes spur me back into wanting to do drawing more in my free time. Hopefully with one online class and three in person classes, I'm gonna have a bit more focus on drawing. Though I'm gonna have to fix my sleep schedule, argh.
But yeah I'm gonna slow my roll on OC content for about a month and just kind of, draw what's popular/what's been popular as a sort of, challenge I guess? Maybe, that's the plan anyway.
