What's going on

OK guys, just a little update on my situation at the moment. You know I've always been very open and honest with you guys, and I won't stop that here. 

I know I am not producing as much as I want or as much as you would want me to and there are reasons for this. Sadly, as so often, it is my work. 

We have a new head of nursing in our company. She is implementing changes galore to "bring us back on track" but is disturbing the flow of things 90% of the time. My patients and co-workers are not happy with what she is doing for the most part and she also sasses our patients when they call to complain.

She is of the opinion that the certified nurses tours are not full enough, so she keeps fishing for new patients. But as if that wasn't enough, she doesn't even know in which city most patients live (even though there is a postal code next to their name in our system) and keeps assigning ME patients that are not in the city where I usually drive my tour. 

Am I complaining about more work? No, not really. The problem comes with the patients being in 2 cities, and that most of my patients in the town I usually service have their times, meaning they know when I usually arrive. With the new patients in another town, I would not be able to keep those times up, cause I'd have to nurse those patients before anybody else, but if I start at the official start of shift, that is impossible.

So I have to start 2 hours earlier, on my own time, to get those patients nursed and then go to the office, get my stuff, and drive to the town I usually work in to work my tour there.

The worst part is that the drive to those new patients in another town alone takes 20-30 minutes depending on traffic, and that I have to do a roundtrip (so roughly an hour) and then do another 15-25 minute drive over to the town where I ACTUALLY work.

That has led to my tour being longer, and me getting home quite a bit later. I basically spent my day from noon (12) to 9PM at work. I can't do shopping or any other household work really, cause when I get home (at around 10PM) I usually just go and have food, watch something and go to bed. 

When I get up at around 9 am the next morning, the craziness repeats. You might see where this is going. And I only have every 2nd weekend off, so only 4 days a month. 

So as sad as it might make me, I will have to tell you here that I will only be really able to record on those weekends. And then likely only on the sundays, so I can at least get my shopping and household sorted on the Saturdays. 

I am actively looking into getting another job right now so, for the meantime until I get another gig, I hope you understand...
