I have to admit, everyone, I never expected the final vote to be this close!

The results have been hovering right at 50% all day, even though we are approaching the amount of votes I normally get total.

It feels like there is only one fair thing to do.

There will be two endings to The Bet. That also feels like a fitting end to a CYOA story: for the final choice, you get both versions. It might take a little longer than it would otherwise to write both, but I think that's the fair thing to do, especially since both sides feel so strongly about this.

Even though there has been a lot of high-running emotions, I'm touched that you all feel so strongly about this story. Thank you all for reading along with this experiment over the past year. I appreciate you all.

PS: The third Pilot Chapter Option for my next story should be out tomorrow!
