One of my favourite stories—but I really hope Claire doesn’t get reduced to a shallow cliché. She’s a sharp, formidable businesswoman, and the story is far more compelling if she stays that way. Imagine this instead: Claire remains brilliant and controlled by day, but harbours a dangerous secret—an anonymous, masked alter ego that explores a forbidden world after dark. And Dan? He shouldn’t be innocent either. Give him a shadow side. Maybe Zane pushes him into a twisted challenge, a descent into a pitch-black room where rules, names, and identities vanish. Two masked strangers, raw and uninhibited, giving in to everything they suppress. The energy is wild, almost gladiatorial—pure Spartacus intensity. Then the lights come on. The masks fall. And the shock hits—they’ve been facing each other all along. That revelation would be explosive.

2025-12-15 04:17:46 +0000 UTCI think at this point I can buy Dan becoming a cuck, but he still thinks Claire has been a faithful wife and despite giving in to the bet cause he trusted her, I don't think he deserves to be crushed and destroyed which is Zanes goal. I think that is inhumane. He had good intentions behind agreeing to the bet cause as a husband, your supposed to trust your spouse and believe they would never break her vows.
