Just small tip on unracking gear that have no rails: You can freely unscrew top screws because device weight pushes rack ear against a rack anyway so no need to hold it until You're unscrewing bottom ones. Therefore when racking gear back screw bottom ones first.

Soo excited for the VoIP video(s). Homelabbing a PBX with my roommates (freePBX and Polycom VVX IP phones in each room) was one of the most fun things I've done with my lab.

(no consumer bridges back then) The Linksys WET11 was a pretty cool Wi-Fi=>Ethernet bridge back in 2003! ... on the box, anyway. It crashed as soon as you plugged more than one device into it, and this was never fixed in the first revision. Sigh.
