There were 3 TV movies about Amy Fisher, airing on CBS, NBC, and ABC. 2 were aired on the same night, the other aired just a week before. One had Drew Barrymore, another had Allysa Milano. Occasionally, not unlike Hollywood, there would be similar TV movies airing around the same time. This is probably what happened with the 2 Rossane Barr movies you discussed.

It actually aired on broadcast TV (channel 44 in the Bay Area). I was watching that show before I ever heard him on the radio. Blew my mind what they were doing on regular TV even if it was late at night.
