Hey you guys should do an almost cult classic podcast on the 2001 comedy “out cold” it’s a perfect late 90s early 2000’s comedy. Stuff I think we’re missing in comedy today. Or Joe maybe do it as “forgotten failure” I don’t see it as a failure though haha. Just throwing it out there! Love the podcast and your YouTube channel

Wife and I are watching it now. This movie looks like a Tron sequel.

Most of the cast of Caddyshack is dead though

John-Paul

Caddyshack 3 would be funny if the plot was them trying to revive the golf course but none of the original cast members want any part of it

Gavin Fitzgerald

I just came here to comment on the same thing, haha - i instantly thought of Joe and Ryan when I heard the news!

Heath Chamerski

Josh Gad now planning to reboot the STAY TUNED franchise. I’m not even kidding.

The Hindenburg footage.

How did you decide what year comedy started on that tombstone?

I’ll be interested to hear what you guys think of FRIENDSHIP. That was just about the funniest movie I’ve seen in years.

I think you are giving too much credit to them possibly casting Michael B Jordan. They cast Lavell Crawford because the character was named Chubbs and Lavell is fat.

I didn't watch it. You guys should do "Short Time" with Dabney Coleman, though. No matter how simple the idea is, I just cry laughing every time I watch it.

Agree with a lot of what you said here. Totally inconsistant tone, way too many flashback sequences, and too many celebrity cameos. I actually enjoyed a lot of the new jokes, but then they dragged on for way too long. The cemetary brawl was fun but the Mista Mista reference at the end killed it for me. No pun intended. Hiding alcohol in ridiculous places was funny the first few times but repeating the gag 50 times was completely unnecessary. His insane sons gave me a couple chuckles, but that stuff dragged on for way too long too. I also don't understand why they needed to literally reference everything from the original. I absolutely HATED how the sons of his old construction boss, and the jackass guy with touretts syndrome or whatever were inserted into the film. I'm fine with the idea of a Chubbs junior but the casting was completely wrong. He sounded and acted nothing like Chubbs. Besides for being black and having a wooden hand he also looked nothing like Chubbs. The big tournament at the end was way too much. All the special effects in it, cartoonish characters, and real life golfers involved totally reminded me of the original Space Jam movie. Seriously! Rewatch the original Happy Gilmore and the first Space Jam film and then you'll realize that Happy Gilmore 2 is a weird fusion of them both.
