Came back to this after watching Sinners, with how safe Sinners is really shows at how conservative Disney is and I don't mean politically I mean in a business sense

1st thing I bought when I turned 18 was a camcorder. I could not afford a computer or editing software. Rope taught me how to make a movie. We made many a homemade movie in sequence. What we would do is fade to black & fade in again like Hitchcock to cut from scene to scene. It’s not easy & we would have to rewind anytime anyone made a flub & do the scene over & over again.

Loved this movie since I first got into Hitchcock when I was a kid. If you return to Hitch, you should talk about Frenzy from 1972. It was one of Hitchcock’s last films before he died, and probably the best of that era. He’s able to show more explicit violence and sexual content in the film, so it’s probably the closest Hitchcock ever got to making a Brian De Palma movie, in a strange way.

"Leopold and Bloom" - Ryan Lancello. 😂 I think he meant Leopold and Loebe. Leopold Bloom is the character from The Producers😂

The fact Quinton Tarantino remived his name from a film he wrote should tell you everything. It's pure crap

This was amazing, thank you!

You guys talking about how watching new movies have been ruined reminded me that I used to actually do top ten movie lists each year. They went from a list of typically 5 or 6 actually good movies with a few goofy but enjoyable movies, to being a less than top ten list because I didn't even want to see ten new movies each year. Now I see a new movie maybe 3 times a year. It's pathetic.

I don't have anything for Hitchcock, but since you mentioned it, how about Gus Van Sant's Psycho remake followed by Gerry?

I'd like to see the guys cover Strangers on a train. They couldn't be more mistaken thinking it was another one location film -- the traveling between locales is the key to.somw of the great suspense here.

Joe: Everything you ever wanted to know about sex but were afraid to ask. Ryan: He was drilling into a niche Joe: Wanna do it? Ryan: I've got gaps. Thanks for the mention, boys, but the homosexual undercurrent didn't factor into the leads making me think about you two.

Hi Ryan and/or Joe I’m curious what do your think guys think of Natural Born Killers (1994) ? It’s one of my favorite films I love the subtext themes of violence in media and how it could POTENTIALLY incite real world violence I find that fascinating. The cast is also great Woody Harrelson, Juliette Lewis who I also liked in Kalifornia (1993) and from dusk till dawn (1996), Robert Downy Jr in something that’s not a marvel movie lol, Tommy Lee Jones as the sleazy warden the riot scenes where they filmed at Stateville Prison in Illinois one of the most dangerous prisons. I understand you guys wouldn’t do a full episode on it but I’d appreciate either or both of your perspectives on Natural Born Killers (1994)

If you wanted to come back to Hitchcock, you could pair strangers on a train with throw momma off the train.
