Have you or Ryan seen A Futile and Stupid Gesture? I rewatched it when Martin Mull passed and found it pretty all right.

Bill Leon

Ford Fairlane 2: Edsel's Revenge

JokersJuicyAss

Ahhh thats it, well done

Ryan Lancello

Ryan baby how the fuck did you miss "Joy Gilmore" for the daughter name?

Steven Trotter

Eagerly awaiting Ford Fairlane 2.

Trevor Poe

That was a sad one, nearly 10 years with cancer - RIP Shannen

Mary and Steve

Surprisingly, I don’t think so

Almost Cult Classics

Speaking of difficult women to work with, RIP Shannon Doherty.

Lux Anatis

Even though Chow Yun Fat is absent, do watch Woo’s BULLET IN THE HEAD. A little more on the serious side but still full of amazing action. Up their with his best.

cdpren

Did they play somber music-box version of the Axel F. song?

Thomas Bishop

Steve and I talk about a theoretical Austin Powers 4 all the time There’s no way Happy Gilmore 2 will be as “good” as Joe’s ideas but I’ll bump up our pledge if you nail it. The movie pitches segment was great, would totally be down to hear another!!

Mary and Steve

“You’ll never forget Frank!” is a great tagline (or review?) for Blue Velvet - and it’s true! Love him howling “I’ll fuck anything that mooooooves!” Regarding Linda Fiorentino, I remember reading she was a ‘difficult woman to work with’ which is usually just bullshit. I think Kevin Smith said something that got taken out of context. I used to love IMDB but it has become so difficult to use on mobile - and I’ll be honest, I miss the message boards!! Half of the trivia section on any given title now are nonsense un-fun facts, too. JGL is busy with his charity? Production company? Something? hitRECord. I was surprised he wasn’t in La La Land, if it had come out a few years earlier or if Don Jon didn’t flop he would’ve been all over it, I think

The new Bill & Ted movie was the only recent movie that I didn't mind the trope younger generation characters. And that was mainly because the girls didn't hate their dads. They actually had a good relationship with them.

Nathan Kearney

But it is if you don't count 8 year old me watching the 1966 Batman movie

JokersJuicyAss

I don't believe that Deadpool & Wolverine is the first superhero movie you have ever seen.

Lux Anatis

"It's like they want to erase history and replace it with something new."

Lux Anatis

I actually have my own movie catch up, I saw Deadpool & Wolverine in theaters and goddammit that's a good popcorn flick, first MCU movie I have ever saw and the first superhero movie I have watched since I was 8 with the 1966 Batman movie, hell it might be a movie you two might enjoy, or at least Joe will enjoy

JokersJuicyAss

I always use wiki a jump start for writing essays in college and using the actual articles for citation purposes.

For going down movie wormholes Letterboxd is great. Setting up your watchlist on there is convenient and has really got me watching shit I never would have heard of otherwise. Ryan, check out City on Fire for a really good Chow Yun-fat HK movie. It's what inspired the plot of Reservoir Dogs.

Trembling Colors

Joe’s relationship with David lynch is my relationship with woody Allen films although I want to see the ones he’s not in because I can’t stand his persona.

Luke Gordnier

Horizon’s market is Kevin Costner, he’s been trying to make this film for decades so I feel like the biggest reason it’s not a mini series is him funding it
