2023-07-19 22:03:22 +0000 UTCI vaguely remember the Benigni Pinnochio film from my childhood. It was advertised (more specifically, the McDonald's toys were.) Then, it kinda vanished. I later watched it and while the film looked great visually, Breckin Meyer was not the best choice to dub Benigni.

2021-10-20 00:54:08 +0000 UTCAlso side rant, I have a similar hatred for the 1920s, but this is more about smaller creators Online because they do the same thing, even worse than Hollywood, shit at least Hollywood doesn't glamorize this shit decade that was only good if you're a white rich man, oh but these millennials that will always point out how shitty the 1950s were to black people, they never talk about all of the Blackface in these 1920s films they reference by name, they never talk about Woodrow Wilson and how racist he was, they never talk about how this decade was the height of lynching, and they never talk about the Tulsa race massacre which happened during that decade, but you know what they talk about, Stereotypical Italian Mobsters making Moonshine and Tommy Guns (Which by the way, came in the ass-end of that decade)

2021-10-19 05:44:40 +0000 UTCRyan I'm glad we agree on the 1960s being shit, though our reasons are probably different, I personally hate it when every single piece of media that takes place in the 1960s is always the same thing, it's either about civil rights because Hollywood can't make a period piece with a black cast without reminding the viewer that it sucked back then, the Summer of Love, and/or the Vietnam War, it's always the same shit with the same 3 songs that lost all of their meaning
