They wrote new lyrics; the verses weren’t a translation, whereas RM made a minor change. And in the original song by The Police, its “I’ll be watching you”.

Just before this performance, in the interview RM paid tribute to the original performers and The Notorious B.I.G. (Rip)... but he said that the lyrics also meant something to them... so they changed the lyrics a bit to all those who lost their loved ones during this pandemic.
