I saw that your intention was quite honorable as it often is on your part... It wasn't an accusation at all. And I think that this type of ecucation is beneficial to everyone regardless of the origin... Even a lot of Army doesn't know this detail about that term. Yasmine we understand where you are coming from but you cannot take an entire sequence of events and assuming that’s what we are doing even though you wrote a entire segment based on Americans. We are not Americans, 100% Haitians. This would be beneficial for a channel that is 100% Americans. KeepItAmicy

HI thanks for the reaction.. Hope that you'll acceed to my severals previous requests. Just one advice , could you please when talking about Jungkook to refrain to call him Kook/gook/guk coz it's a derogatory term for a lot of asians. I explain.. Historically during the war, americans soldiers heard Koreans say "mi-guk" which means USA, and assumed koreans were calling themselves gooks (ME gook).. And from there americans soldiers took the word "gook" and began referring to koreans as "gooks". You may ask why it's derogatory.. coz they started to call other (south) east asians as "gooks", despite them being of all different nationalities because they couldn't DIFFERENTIATE the differences between asians.. For example during Vietnam war, they called vietnamese people "gooks".. So sorry if I'm annoying, can you please call him Jungkook, JK or even Kookie but please refrain to use that term. I'm from North Africa and thanks to BTS and their commitments against oppressions and discriminations, I began to learn about other cultures and all these micro-agressions we use all without knowing it.. and I think we have to spread what we learn in order to not offend anyone.
