My Werewolf System Chapter 1053

The Howlers had done all they could do for the time being. Using whatever resources they had available to try and put a stop to the One Gang before things got even bigger, and in Kai’s mind, before Gary would blow a fuse and just try to go against Harvor in the first place.

While waiting, everyone was still busy in their own way. Austin had asked Ice to meet him from time to time; one could only guess that they were going through some type of training of sorts.

Marie and Olivia were now quite a dependable duo and were learning to utilize their classes better with each other, and the rest of the members weren't slacking off either on Kai’s orders.

Although he wanted to do everything in his power to stop a full-scale war from breaking out, with the Howlers' forces having to fight again, he couldn't deny that it might be inevitable.

Currently, Kai was in one of his many offices. He wasn’t in the Wolf’s Pool Club; instead, he was borrowing one of the hotel rooms and had various files in front of him.

Eventually, he leaned back in his chair and let out a sigh.

“Harvor’s strength is scary, to be able to beat Jayden, and even take out Gary in one blow. I remember the first time I met Gary, I thought he would be able to climb up high, but has he reached his limit?”

“Is this a wall that we just can’t topple? Even if that is the case, we can’t just rely on Gary for this one, which is why I want these things to come through.”

“Oh, and they will.” A voice was heard and a gust of wind blew right in Kai’s face. He blinked for a few moments and a man was now standing right in front of him, with black hair and a familiar white lab coat.

‘How did he get in?’ Kai looked at the door; he was completely confused. He didn’t even sense such a person even with his werewolf instincts and senses. Yet there was an even greater fear that had reached out to him.

The reason he was in the hotel room, instead of one of the regular places, was just in case there were those in the city working for the One Gang. Learning from the Phoenix Gang having so many people in their back pocket, it wouldn't be out of the realm of possibility to have the same thing happen again.

‘So how did he know that I was staying here in this hotel room? Not even Gary or the others knew I was here.’

“Calm down, I’m not here to attack you, you should know who I am.”

And Kai indeed knew who this man was by the various photos he had referenced; this was Rickle Epman.

Rickle reached into his lab coat, and there was a thick stack of papers that were placed on the table in front of him.

“This is information of everything that Rumper Karn has done. Transactions from his bank accounts, text messages that he sent to the One Gang, and even files of experiments done in NIRV itself. If you take this to White Rose, that will be more than enough evidence for them to convict him.

“It also has my company stamp on the work, my seal of approval. Seeing that, they should know that the rest of NIRV won’t get involved. So they would only be going after Rumper Karn, those involved with helping him, and the One Gang itself.”

Kai quickly glanced over the files, and he couldn't believe how much information was there. His personal bank statements, even with Rickle being such a high figure in NIRV, how was he able to get his hands on this information?

Banks kept this information secret and it was the same with the phone networks. Kai couldn't wrap his head around it all; did NIRV just have a higher network than the Kings? Or was this all the doing of the man in front of him?

When Kai looked up at the man, his cells felt like they were on fire. Adrenaline was running through his body, as if he was ready to fight or run.

“Thank you, I will hand this over to them as soon as possible. I hope we can work more in the future as well, is there a way I can contact you?” Kai asked, thinking this would still be a valuable contact to have.

They were cooperating now due to the common goal, but in the future, if they had NIRV on their side, how high could the Howlers rise?

“I was going to send someone to hand over these files, but due to the importance in all of this I decided to hand them myself, and besides, I wanted to see you as well,” Rickle said.

Kai was taken aback by the statement. Why would Rickle know about him? They had never met before. Only the gangs they had gone against would know of him, and those within the gang.

“Your people think quite a lot of you,” Rickle said with a large smile. “You don’t need my contact; if I ever need to get in contact with you, then I will just do the same as I did today.”

That in itself was a scary thought for Kai. He was starting to wonder if this person was someone they had to worry about even more than Harvor, and it would be best to keep on the good side of NIRV.

Rickle then quickly sped to the door, opening it. It was incredibly fast and in that moment Kai knew this man certainly wasn’t a regular human, although he had guessed that a while ago.

“Seeing you, you remind me of myself,” Rickle said. “So I have one piece of advice for you: don’t ever betray your friends… you will regret it.”

Rickle had left the room, and was out of the hotel. As he traveled through the city, he had a sticking thought on his mind.

“I’m sorry… Arthur…”
