Brigitte's Gym Update and Insight

  Hello! Here with an update on Brigitte's Gym for ya; gotta come up with a flashier title than that, but for now I'm focused on wrapping up the set and getting some poses in.

  I want to give a look at my pre-production and set-building process. I think this is an often-overlooked stage, but it's extremely important to get right. As you pass through the stages of a production, you want to make sure everything is stable, so you can focus on the current task at hand. 

  After I have a finished script and storyboards, I set about laying out the geography of my scene. 

  This is in Blender, using basic planes and the text object. Doing the layout this way allows me to grab the character rigs and place them around, and get a sense of how much space is needed (more/less). 

   At this stage I might start adding some poses in to get a sense of the framing as well as a jump on the upcoming animation (also, it's fun). 

  I want to share a progress pic which I find interesting; you can see how things start to come together, from the layout to the final texturing. 

  You may notice this gym REALLY incentivizes inner-thigh training (I'll add one or two more machine variations for the final; not that strong inner-thighs aren't important 😄). 

  Also just want to note, everything here is custom, save for the water-bottle and the bag! I like to make my own stuff as much as possible, but no reason to re-invent the wheel on everything (just make sure to follow proper attribution etiquette; Blendswap is a good resource for random little assets). 

  Here's some renders of a few of the custom assets made for this scene. 

  These lockers are my favorite; a variety of normal and familiar names, along with some stickers to give it some character. It's stuff like this that brings a scene to life; little "in-universe" references make the environment feel lived-in. 

  And of course, let's reveal our Sombra with her custom 80's Workout outfit! 

  She's a bit remiss to go all out at first, but Brig will be bringing her around.

  I'll be using dances as "scene transitions". I think this is going to be very lively and unique, but it's also giving me some great practice on full-body animation, something I've been wanting to improve upon (I'll likely release a separate little video with just the dances, as I'm quite happy with them so far). 

  Sombra thinks these dances are CRINGE, tho. 😳 We'll see if she's able to change her mind...

  Of course, I want to deliver a very erotic, sexy, fun movie. Next preview will have more animation as I delve into the meat of this project (the tender, juicy, thicc meat).
