Santy is so cute... (PPF update)

figured i'd give a quick update at the top of the month with regards to Punch Punch Forever, currently i'm working on a Christmas short! it'll just be around 3 minutes or so long so not a full episode really, and i'm aiming to keep the animation relatively simpler than a proper episode, but of course i'd like to get it out in December! hopefully around mid-December would be a nice point, not too early in the month, but not too late either.. i remember finishing last years PPF christmas drawing on the evening of Christmas day which was just too damn late for my liking!

i've also got episode 4 in early prep now too. the script isn't specifically written yet but the episode layout is pretty much solidified now and i'm happy with it! since PPF isn't a very dialogue-reliant show when it comes to its humor (obv given the self-imposed language barrier!), something i've been trying out lately is essentially writing the script as i storyboard at the same time. with the basic episode layout done, i just storyboard what comes to mind to fill in the blanks, and write dialogue as i go! i did this for the christmas short and it came around very quickly compared to writing the last 3 episodes, so i'm giving it a whirl with episode 4 as well!
sometimes when writing a script, i don't find myself really laughing during the process, just the internal voice in my head saying "thats funny :)", but actually storyboarding and drawing ideas is where i get a good giggle going, like a baby cherub chortling to himself, so it's been a more fun and funny approach to writing!

the plan is to work on the Christmas short and episode 4 somewhat simultaneously, obvious priority going to the short to get it out by December, but not just waiting til thats done before starting episode 4, as ideally i'd like ep4 out relatively early next year too ("early" by my standards is like April or so but lets not set anything in stone yet!)

ideally if things go to plan, i can get the Christmas short actually finished or mostly finished well before December so I can chill a bit and then put my full focus into ep4 the sooner the better.

also, i think i'd like to try and do the next PPF merch drop early next year, maybe before ep4 comes out.

i wanna try and make more dumb quick shorts on youtube that i can bang out in a couple few days. stuff like Hey Homah or the Metal Gear Stinky short from my last "random short animations i made" video. stuff that'll probably be animated very quick and dirty. been writing a lot of dumb funny stuff, and kind of more dialogue-based jokes (a la the fabled Disgraced Attorney humor) that wouldn't quite work/translate to PPF so baby speedo needs an outlet for that stuff, so quick shitty toons will be the way!
i may release at least one of these videos before the end of this year but that might be more of a next year thing

speaking of next year, i have another pretty significant short i'll be doing that will be slated for around December of next year. that might seem an awful while away and very specific release window to announce now, but there's good reason for it! that will be another cool proper animation (just in case you think everything i make outside of PPF now will be short shitty animated stuff)
i'll tease more of that next year as it goes into proper production

there's a behind the scenes video being made about the EVO animation from this time last month, that should release soon enough in the coming weeks and then i can finally share the project files for that here!

and who knows what the F else i'll release in the meantime. the odd parody toon here and there.. might join some more Newgrounds animation collabs and such

anyways thats it for now! not sure why i wrote this big update like it's an end of year/plans for 2026 type of update, but i thought i'd fill you in anyways!
anyways key point is for the rest of this year, it'll be all go on PPF christmas short, early ep 4 work, and drawing more tits and cocks
