Imagine being in a spy organization not truly knowing whose an LMD and whos not and trying to figure it out without them finding out your trying to figure it out..... Only one that would be easy is if you can get Daisy to use her powers or something. Seems Aida is going down a darker path now, seems she might have a plan for Anton before he dies. Still one my favorite things is all the random pop culture reference form other movies and shows the characters randomly throw out..... "Sharks with lasers" If only I had a LMD to go to work for me could use that lol

Oh man, this cliffhanger is criminal! I can't wait for next week hahaha

I love cocky Coulson, ngl. And yes, the flashbacks were so much fun, probably for the actors too. Thanks for the clarification, not sure where my brain was at.

Jason O'Mara is def very attractive. 👀 Yeah I wonder how that works too! It's fun to see Davis get some screen and script time.

kaiielle

Yeah that's fair. Still would have been fun to know!

kaiielle

Only need to wait 3 and a bit more days!

kaiielle

No episode 15? No? It's just one of the single greatest episodes of television I've ever seen. No big deal. I can wait...

The calm before the storm. You had to know that nothing is ever this easy. Get Mace and May back no problem....... Now we have lost more of the team. Mack has always hated messing with things above his immediate understanding. Aliens and robots are a no for him. The framework Radcliffe built is a concept that is way ahead of anything they have ever done so it understandably scares him. Excited for the next episode. One of my personal favorites. The point Coulson was making about the 084 and that mission was that it was not important enough for him to even remember and the Russian wasted his life going after him. It doesn't matter what it was. At least Daisy gets to beat the leader of the watchdogs ass.

Hey, if you wanna binge the rest of this season, I'm not stopping you! 😂 Fun flashback stuff this episode, and also some great action! And I'm sure the half-naked glistening bod of director Mace didn't hurt this episode's ratings any either. That man has got some serious bulk to him. 👀 Someone mentioned agent Davis in the comments a couple of episodes ago, how he was finally getting some lines this season after being a background agent since season 1. And now here he is getting a funny line delivery! I'm so proud! 😅 I'm curious if the writers pick specific background characters for these scenes, or if it's just a matter of which bit-role actor is available that day. We've had agent Piper a bunch of times in the past, yet she has been completely absent for a fair number of episodes now.

So much good stuff in this episode! I *adore* Coulson's little speech to Ivanov - "You're just another redshirt like so many others, who tried unsuccessfully to stop me from saving the world - cuz that's what I do". It's so cocky and smug, yet accurate - and has the added benefit of pointing out that ultimately, Ivanov is a conspiracy theory chasing nobody. The May & Coulson interactions in the flashbacks are *gold* - shows that they've always had a slightly flirty old-married-couple relationship. Also sent many shippers hearts going with the undercover story! Such a mix of emotions though with the reveal that they were almost going to date, but May had just met Andrew. 🙁 It's actually quite fun to see Coulson and Daisy spar at the beginning - we don't see that sort of thing from Coulson much. They also give us a little hint that it's not real by showing us his unamputated arm. Fun fact: Clark is a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, so would be quite capable of performing fight scenes like that. Just to clarify, we know AIDA was not on the submarine when it left, as she's still with Ivanov. Her repeating the "even filth has a purpose" line back to him has a somewhat poetic feel to it. Anything else? Oh right, some more LMDs - well, I'm sure they won't cause any problems...

That movie took place in 1995 when Coulson was a rookie most likely Level 1 field agent. (Though he most likely was working for shield as a analyst before field work hence the nerd energy.) He is level 8 at the start of this series 2013 so 18 years to go up 7 level then become director.

'Bio always works!' is the same excuse he uses in Bahrain. Nice continuity.

Dyrla

It’s getting crazy!!!!!!!! And the May & Coulson mission I’m pretty sure was after Captain Marvel stuff cuz Coulson was a rookie at the time.

Fuck I'm at work. Maybe it's time to quit...... Lol. Just kidding kind of.

Christopher simeon

This cliff-hanger man …. I’ll just say giddy for next week! I would also want to jump straight into the next episode!

codenamewitch xx

Just a small one. 😉

kaiielle

Why did you want to watch the next episode immediately? Was there a cliff-hanger or something? 😜
