Pics From Japan 2: Hedgehog Cafe and Other Fun Things

We went to an absoulutely adorable 'hedgehog cafe' that also had chinchillas and guinea pigs, but I'm picturing the hedgehogs here:
I can't remember which shrine this is from whoops. It was in Kyoto though.
These are all from the Akasaka Hikawa Shrine, though. While the manga and PGSM based the Hikawa shrine Sailor Mars lives and works at off the Azabu Hikawa Shrine, the 90s anime is based more off the Akasaka Hikawa shrine, which is WAY bigger.
The trees in this shrine were so gorgeous, especially this massive one that which still has damage from being bombed in World War II. Glad it managed to survive, amazing to think how old it might be.
I was obsessed with all the votive/ema and reading everyone's wishes on them, I did it for every shrine. Came off some really wild ones I'll share someday:

Finally, there was a cafe outside the Kyoto International Manga Museum where a ton of famous manga arists (and even some cartoon/comic artists like Pen Ward and Natasha Allegri) had drawn on the walls! These are just a couple, I'll have to sort through the rest, but you can see the mangaka for Bride's Story and so on.
