It would have been kinda funny for Elise to go full refuge in audacity and just go so over the top in breaking her disguise that people questioned if she was being serious but her decision to try to be subtle does make sense. Also it’s good that Liam has completely had the fight beaten out of him It kinda feels like her mana pool is actually shrinking. In her duel with Telvir she used about double the amount of spells than here I think and this fight supposedly has her running on fumes. It just seems odd.
