I got some important news for you today. If you've been hanging around the streams you probably know about this already: I'm planning on taking a break from Youtube.
We're about to hit the 6 year anniversary here in a few months, and since the beginning pretty much I've been pumping out about a video per week(a bit slower lately). I do it because I love it, video editing is my passion, and I'm lucky to have so many people watch, and even you guys who go a step above and beyond and support me directly here on Patreon.
I've been feeling it coming on for a while now though and I think it's time to take a break. I think just like with anything in life, sometimes you need to step away, refresh and recharge - even if it's something you love.
I don't expect it to be too long, maybe 2-3 months or so. The good news is I'm actually planning on ranking in Classic WoW so in absence of the videos you can certainly expect more streams. I know this post seems like a goodbye letter, but it's far from it!
I just wanted to make sure you guys all know since most of the rewards here on Patreon are based on Youtube. Without videos for a while there won't be shoutouts, no polls, early access etc. I'll be posting periodic updates with my plans and just how I'm feeling to keep everyone up to speed, and also reminders of my short hiatus on the Youtube side of things.
So my plans for now is to finish up the latest video which is in EA right now(the tbc one), then work on a announcement video to let everyone on Youtube know, then start ranking and have fun with all of that good stuff.
I'm leaving the Patreon up as I will be returning, but just wanted to let you all know in-case you want to cancel your pledges in the meantime, as there won't be a lot going on for a couple of months. I'll post at least one more reminder before the 1st of may, which is when Patreon charges for pledges.
You all know how to reach me, DMs are always open, twitter, pop by stream, etc etc. Thanks all so much for the 6 years of support!

I think that the most important thing about YT is that the people on there are having fun, if you aren't having fun then there is no purpose in making those videos. If what you need is a break then go ahead, take however long it should take, your fans will be waiting. I won't cancel my sub because of a break!

I, myself, won't cancel the subscription, not only because i enjoy your work, but i watched so many of your videos, for so long, without contributing, that it really doesn't bother me to keep being a patreon. Anyway, i hope you enjoy this break, i don't really enjoy watching streaming/live content, so i guess i'll see you in 2-3 months.
