Finally managed to finish this one....something different! Fun to venture outside of the realm of WoW for a bit. Hope you enjoy!

Thanks Z! I hope people like it - it's something I'd like to explore a bit more every now and then.

LOL I was wondering if that was gonna throw people off!

Really nice vid Mads! As much as I’m almost exclusively a WoW player, I enjoyed it a lot and found it informative, too. Must have been fun to branch out making this one—well done.

Welll... I don't know if a young modern gamer like yourself would find much fun in it, but you are welcome to try out my free online MUD. You'll find lots of familiar ideas from this video, *including* the ideas about death-consequences you talk about in this great video. http://www.coffeemud.net

I made mental notes during the video so I would have smart stuff to comment, but then you dropped the F-Bomb and my brain went through a drive wipe. ....but now I miss my old NES. :(

Glad you liked it Bo! Interesting to hear your side as well - growing up with mainly console games until SWG/WoW, I'm sure I could learn a lot from you. I've heard stories of those super oldschool online rpgs, but sadly I can't say I had the chance to try them!

Fun video and subject matter! I especially loved the description of attuning to Jedi. :) BTW - Computer gamers were saving their game states in the 70s, and therefore playing RPGs a decade before the SNES. This is a big reason I never bought a console. Another fun fact-- multi-player online RPGs also go back to the 1970s. I remember playing them in the early 90s and being amazed to be in a world with thousands of other people running around.
