Next video + Updates!

Hey all

I've had some extra free time, so I'm getting right into the next video, which will be part 2 of the dungeon set 2 video that I put out not too long ago(VO attached). I should have it all finished by today, but I'll probably hold off on releasing it for a couple of days - usually I try to limit my uploads to 1 every 3-5 days to keep a slow, but steady pace. So I'm a bit ahead right now. I'm thinking I'll use the extra time to get a lot of work done with my FF7 project.

In that regard, I've been making really consistent progress. I think the review is turning out pretty good so far - a nice mix of information, nostalgia and comedy I think. Honestly, it's just been fun playing through it again and soaking in all of the nostalgia. In fact you may have noticed in my recent videos there's been a lot of FF7 music, so you can kind of see that spilling over.

I'd say I'm maybe close to 1/2 of the way through the game now, with the script and voiceover portions not far behind. Here's hoping I'm able to stick with it and see it through to the end! If it's well received, I'm definitely open to doing more of my favorite games from the past. Now I just need to figure out a name for the channel...

I also wanted to make a quick comment about my latest video. As you may know, it's the one about my history with WoW and sharing my personal memories of my time playing. It's actually gotten really good feedback which was surprising! I thought it was just mainly going to appeal to the hardcore subscribers of the channel, but all sorts of people jumped in and shared their personal stories as well. I've been reading through most of the comments and have had fun watching others recall funny stories that happened to them as well. It seems like the video brought out a lot of memories and nostalgia, which is great!

I look forward to making more of those. Honestly, I feel very lucky to be in the position that I'm in right now that people would be interested in my stories. It seemed that not too long ago I was just another dude making videos with 100 subscribers, and now it's blown up to crazy proportions with even generous people like you supporting me on Patreon. In fact, the page recently hit over 50 patrons...that's nuts! Thanks everyone not only your support by viewing, but also for the positive feedback and the financial support on here as well. I'm very blessed to have met such generous people....so thanks!

I'll pay it back with the only way I know how: more videos. Speaking of which, I'll get back to it!
