Back to watching these after being busy myself and your reaction to this reveal didn't disappoint! I'm one of many people who had to go back and watch the other episodes to pick up on clues I missed.

Came as a complete shock to me! OH no, how did you manage to spoil this for yourself? Reddit?

I've been editing the episodes before this one and my god, you're right. It's so obvious now. Even the way people would visit him. They always sat opposite him, on the same spot at the same table. But obviously if you don't know that these are things that you should pay attention to, you just think it's part of his "boring loop", "his regime". This show!!

Yeahhhh this was one of those instances where I -hated- myself for ruining this moment in advance haha but they did a phenomenal job on the reveal for those that didn't see it coming for sure. 😄 Since I've been so tuned in with the community I would read up on all the subreddit threads that spawned weekly and after the first episode in season 2 people were seeing things that if you go back you'd see right in front of you, like how you can see that alarm light against the wall even in Season 2 episode 1 that was -definitely- never there in season 1 whatsoever.

Fun reveal. Watching up to this episode in a reaction is fun because you know what's going on - but the really fun part is that the show actually gives you tons of clues to where he really is; particularly visual clues like all the windows in any shot with Elliot have bars on them, or like in "Krista's office" where she had the blinds arranged in such a way that they looked like bars over the windows with the shadow. There are more clues too that you spot on a rewatch - but it's like The Prestige, you're not really looking for the secret of the magic trick because you want to be fooled, right?
