Changelog for 0.56 (for now)

This will likely change after bug testing is complete, but here's the changelog for 0.56 so far:


New:

- Built new minigame with a new battle system. This is both a teaser for a side game I'm working on with an artist and another developer, and practice to see other things I can add to it to make it more fun.

- New expedition system, send a team to find you materials and more.

- Added the return of a character.

- Built a kingdom management system. (still in progress)

- Added Kingdom upgrades. (still in progress)

- Built several new events. In chapter 4, to progress through the story you will need to visit the throne room and check your daily agenda everyday. Currently there are 3 of these scenes.

- Added a scavenge system so you can collect materials from past areas.

- Added a love/fear and loyalty system.

- 1 new (bad) ending if your loyalty falls to 0. I hope some of you see this, I really like this scene.

- Added a line to the end of chapter 3 to let players know if they managed to complete it within the hidden time limit.

Chapter 4 is the final hub of the game, so it will continue being expanded upon over the rest of the game.

Fixed:

- Home button after any ending was broken.

- Fixed a bug preventing you from reporting the bosses death to the Dryad.

- Modified Rhelyla's explanation of past events in charm training to fix some unclear text and modify her knowledge of history.

- There was a bug regarding azrael's quest line while exploring the mountains. It doesn't appear that this should have caused any serious game breaking bugs, but it has been fixed.

- Journal entry telling you to collect spidersilk should no longer appear once you've turned it in.

- Fixed some issues with the Dryad preg displaying out of order. Still needs to be tested.

- Fixed a line that could repeat a second time if you did a certain objective.

- Fixed some lines with Rhelyla if you got the Dryad pregnant.

- Fixed an evil line of text that appeared when the player was good when meeting Ephraim.

- Capitalized Daeran's name.

- Fixed a line in your quest log saying something wasn't yet available when it was in the elf village.

- If you look at your notebook before leaving the elf village for the first time, an error would be visible, though it wouldn't affect the player. Initialized the variable at the beginning of the chapter to resolve this.

- Lots of typos (thanks Cfestron for finding so many).

- Removed some text informing players they reached the end of the available content at the end of chapter 3.

- Lowered the amount of times you need to explore the elf forest level 1 from 14 to 10 to unlock level 2.

- Lowered the amount of times you need to explore the elf forest level 2 from 15 to 10 to unlock level 3.

- Added a condition to make it easier to unlock level 4 of the elf forest.

- Lowered the exploration requirement for all scenes in level 4 of the elf forest, may need to adjust the elf village time limit though as it's now too easy to complete everything in a few days.

- If you get the College Daze bad end, it is now possible to continue from the next area without repeating it, you just don't get the rewards.

- Slightly increased chances of getting an item from the tentacle holes in chapter 3.

- Added a hint to the game over screen for players who are struggling with Dracula.
