2025-01-01 13:44:55 +0000 UTCaaa dan, i'm so happy to see you this happy about your year. i'm going to try to restrain myself from having a full yap sesh, but seriously you deserved everything you got this year & so much more. i'm really glad that i'm finally on board as a big monetary supporter of your work, you're the first person i've ever subscribed to on patreon despite me being pretty online & being a fan of many other people's work. i have not regretted joining for one second. you seriously are onto so many great things already & i'm super excited to see this new project that you're talking about. i love the storytime youtube videos, but honestly if those have to take a backseat for you to focus your energy on what you're working on now, i'm sure it'll be so worth it in the end. and i appreciate that you're committed to still doing inner circle videos in the meantime. i'm not quite sure how to end this, but thank you again for everything that you do, really. your comedy is such a breath of fresh air, in that it feels relatable but not in any way i've seen before. it really does feel like a safe space, and has been for this year. i'm not sure how much i can quantify how much your work has helped me, but i know that it has. i always love comedy & getting to laugh, but i needed something new, but something that felt very real at the same time. i'm not sure if that makes sense & now i'm realizing that i ended up typing another messy paragraph but WHATEVER. to conclude, i'm glad that you feel this good about the year & that you feel even better about the upcoming year. i can't wait to see what's in store (:

2025-01-01 09:55:32 +0000 UTCi think i’m an alien from a different planet because i actually prefer and love the no eyebrows look!! i watched the Santa video in full recently and can kind of see the progression of immersing yourself in a character with a storyline - a beginning, climax, and some kind of resolution with also little bits of you “out of character” since that’s kinda inevitable with an hour long singular take lol. i feel like i’ve seen you tell stories, and i’ve seen you immerse yourself in a character with something to say, but the Santa video felt like a journey. A process. I can’t really definitively describe why it’s different from some of the others, but it’s definitely a recent fav. regardless, i know i’ve said it before, but i am so happy to watch your creative journey develop in real time and watch you experiment with different formats. you’ve got lots of love in your community, and the monetary investment is worth it for you. thank you for the laughs this year and everything else as always and i can’t wait to see what 2025 brings you!! happy sober ny 🥂:)

I wrote my New Year wishes for you in my (cancelled) Cameo request, but I thought I’d better share them here as well, just in case you haven’t had a chance to read them (which is totally fine and understandable!). May your tap water be extra silky, your Mike & Ike packs contain only pink and orange candies, and may all the morons who occupy public bathrooms for too long kill themselves! Also, I hope the coming year surprises you even more than the current one; and only in the best possible ways.
