New WIPs: SEAF Duties & Captain RoR2!

Hey hey everyone! Your uncle Helix is dropping by for a little check-in, everything feels so different in a post Sample Collection world 😵‍💫

First off, I know I've already said this on Twitter and on Discord and in voice chat, but once again: thank you all so fucking much for the support on the Helldivers video. It's still mind boggling to see just how much traction that thing got - would you guys believe me if I said I wasn't even sure if people were gonna like it? I might have too much of a tendency to doubt myself...

So on my end, the past month has been spent moving houses and getting things in place for a few new projects. I finally got models set up for a couple of new characters that I've wanted to animate for a while, and I'll be revisiting some familiar faces as well.

I'll cook up some more previews for you lovely people over the next couple of days while I finish settling into my new place, but for now:

SEAF Duties

I've still got full-tilt Helldiver brainrot, so I started working on this as soon as I finished the last video. Hearing the little SEAF grunts practically worshiping the Helldivers in-game made the dynamic write itself. The animations on this one are done, it's a single-angle 40s vid, 15s of which involved the Helldiver emptying his nuts into his lucky fan's mouth. Soon!

Captain RoR2 (Finally!)

I'd been wanting to make stuff with Captain for so long, but I'm admittedly a bit of a noob when it comes to modeling. Blandwich carried my ass through the modeling process here (as usual) and the end result looks fan-fuckin'-tastic, in my opinion at least. I'm still thinking on what exactly I want to animate with him, because I'll probably want to pair him with another RoR2 character - probably Bandit.
