I think the squad met various people from the major forces of expira throughout the years they have been on expira. Just because I think author hasn’t written it, doesn’t mean it didn’t happen in some open ended story. It doesn’t need to be written for it to happened. It may be that it isn’t important enough to write that it may have happened in the background noise that no one knows.

Sure, she had plenty of chances to meet him during the Island training period, but that was after Hellen's death. I don't think I know of any significant portion of time before that she was in the Alpha Cosmos to potentially meet him long enough for him to find out about her art talent.
