So instead of focusing on Rand’s training, we wind up with a vague description and then an alternate POV, after which time will probably skip ahead and we’ll barely see any of Rand actually training, just the results.

BA-Zeta is the automaton that was one of the cleaners of Kharon before he absorbed? The engraving changes RG casually wrote down, allowing him to advance, develop and lvl up, iirc.

And now Randidly is manifesting some sort of image body inside the Alpha Cosmos to walk the Path of Dreams, which immediately has an impact on his "inner world" as soon as he "touches" it. Inner worlds never really make sense, in any of the stories I've read that have them. Also I stopped reading for awhile, and vaguely remember the android who was created through plot convenience, but the guy went blind fighting some other manifestation of Randidly? That's what the Patron of Grey was, right, RGs engineered calamity?
