While I agree about the issues brought up, I do not agree about the urging to re-write immediately. We understood the beginning and end of the chapter. That's enough for us to move on to the next chapter. Puddles edits his chapters before they get to the 1 week from public posting stage. So, all he really has to do is make a note on this chapter that there's an issue that he should come back to later.

A lot of this doesn't make sense.. It says he narrowed the distance after the strike but what for? And then dodged without any mention of what the giant did to make him dodge? This part is just very awkward.

Even though, other than the unborn duo, he currently has no part of her in his being? Can't account for crazy I suppose. I should have realized it before. Devick is deliberately designed to defy all attempts at predicting what she might do next. (That said, I'm still going to make predictions about her, just to point out what the most reasonable action for her to do next according to the pattern might be. I'm not sure if Puddles has been taking my predictions into account, but if he has then I guess I can be helpful by allowing him to avoid Devick defying her character and suddenly becoming predictable.)
