2020-09-05 22:03:53 +0000 UTCThought the 6 tails was familiar. Realized there's a 6 tailed humanoid Nether Gatekeeper in ch 1119 that attacks Vaulla. Could be coincidence but with contact cutoff ~2 years ago that could be around RGs time on the frontlines and would be interesting if his brother tied back to that but there'd have to be a lot of backstory in how he got there and why he was a nether gatekeeper. Could tie into experiments with Nether that the swacc family are doing on the sly.

2020-09-05 14:40:10 +0000 UTCIt’s not clear whether Wick intends to send the elite squad to the frontlines immediately or let them finish their three months of training. I was under the impression that the elite squad was more a way for influential people in the Nexus to cultivate their best descendants and was not intended to see actual fighting against the Nether. Wick seems to be asking here whether Rand is training them to fight Nether or is operating under the assumption that they won’t be called on to fight on the frontlines. It doesn’t sound like he’s going to send them to the frontlines immediately.

I think it’s a little premature to immediately give up the training setting and send the little nuggets straight to the burning skillet of the frontlines. The people supporting the recruits we’re supposed to be some of the most powerful people of the Nexus.
