They are fighting mid air and in slow motion(and they are so fast that they can fight like this in seconds). Or they are falling from the athmosphere or som shit- otherwise this fight doesn't make sense.

And I still believe it to be at the very least a contradicting behavior, although now I'm in the process of trying to make peace with the idea that Rand is just a [really] flawed [anti] hero.

2020-08-07 19:37:26 +0000 UTCAbsolutely not, so many people almost dropped this story when all Puddles did was nerf Randidly randomly when he needed to be at his peak most. It was a lazy way of making non-threats relevant. This is similar but at least it's less frustrating to read, and Puddles has shown progression in his writing ability, so much so that I'm no longer pissed off when I see these nerfs and am instead excited to see what he's still capable of with these handicaps in place.

If you're unable to reevaludate your options, then you're unable to adapt, and if you can't adapt, you can't survive. The Grim Chimera has cornered itself in a contradiction, so it might be for the best if it just dissapears.
