Yakuza Girls — Body Modifications

Hey fellas.

I've wanted to ground things a little further, as I've felt I've gotten too unconfident. "Maybe people would like this better? I don't wanna take that chance..." and its lead me to change stuff unnecessarily.

I've polished up the bodies of the Yakuza girls to keep them balanced between having a bit of the secret sauce that makes them work well in my artwork, while being more faithful to how I initially portrayed them in my work + the original source material.

Chitose's assets were too unpolished, not to my liking. A bit of a lesser Seonhee to me, it was very confused for a while -- so I've redone her body to still get that "fit girl" look I've been chasing for a while but never got down. Now, I believe I have.

I've felt particularly unconfident about the Saeko set in particular, part of my frustration has been with her body. I want to give her a slimmer, more average but still sexually appealing body.

Have Saeko and Chitose contrast a little, kind of like how they contrast in the game with their personalities and as love interests for Ichiban. I want that to be represented with their body types, in a way, if that makes sense. Saeko's a little safer, more normal but still a looker. Chitose's a bit younger, bigger assets, probably a bit of a wild ride. Both a little different, in a way.

I know I'm talking about naked Japanese women from a video game, but this is very important to me, more than ever.

For Seonhee, I'm feeling a little confident going a little balls out. Reception to her body type was very positive and lead to very popular pieces. One of my main goals with Seonhee was to have her body exhibit power, in a sense, status -- but something that is easy to conceal under her regular clothing.

She was a particularly difficult character to nail in this iteration. Keeping the look that has served her so well but polishing it, and keeping it from getting too silly. I was mainly inspired by how @NeroHunter6 makes his characters look, particularly Lady from DMC5. They're buff and busty, but never exaggerated. I wanted Seonhee to be, out of the main 3 girls, be the one that's a lot more... out there, in a way. Bustier, stronger, all that.

Someone in my DMs keeps referring to her as "the Ada Wong of Yakuza". That thought has been stuck in my head. She kind of is! Portraying her in a similar way would be very, very fun, so that is likely what I am going to do.
